Rupert was never part of my havanese breeding program and has always been a family member. He is honorary uncle, pack leader, and a big old softy with the girls and their pups. 
He started a purposeful life at 12 weeks old by being approved to ride on the school bus with me daily.  He was the first dog (to my knowledge) approved for this special job of helping calm children  in times of excitement or distress on a bus. He excelled at his job and always knew who needed him each day. He also went into the school to do comfort work after a couple of traumatic events.
 He has helped me raise and socialize my pups over the past 10 years.  He continues to bring sensitivity, laughter, and love to everyone who meets him. At 10 years old he is still actively helping my puppies build confidence, sensitivity to situations, and a good sense of humor!!
